George Berry was a great man, loved by all, he was a Husband, Father, Brother, Grandad and a Good Friend to all.
George sadly died 15th july 2007
George was 68 when he died but turned 69 on the 16th july
he was a truck driver lived and breathed driving
George came from Leeds, West Yorkshire
George was married to the wonderful Janice Berry they will have been married 20 years this year 4th june 2008
George has a wonderful sister Wynn
George has 7 lovely children, Mark who sadly died in 1995, Anita, Wendy, Diane, Paul, Nini, and Janine
George has many grandchildren and great grandchildren too many to be named on here but you know who you are.
George sadly died of lung cancer, he fought on till the end with his wife and all his children by his bed.
My dad George was a great man I love him so much, he was the world to me, I miss him with all my heart, a day doesn't go by when I think about little things he used to do, we had a thing, when I came in and asked him how he was feeling he would wiggle his fingers and say with mi hands,
I miss that so much.
He loved truck driving and when me and my brother were younger we used to go places with him in the truck.
My dad was married to my mum Janice and they loved each other so much, when he'd had a drink of beer he would wind mum up and she would shout at him but he was so funny with it.

Four Years Today x
Can't believe its been four years today dad that you were taken from us, not a day doesn't go by that i don't think about you.
I miss you so much just wish you were here to see how things have changed good and bad, mainly good tho.
mum misses you loads so does janine n paul, mum is happy living in her new flat with her little doggy harry, who i know you would have loved, he reminds me of you such a cheeky chappy and gets away with anything.
janine is settled down with andy who you would have got on with just like mum does, they also remind me of you n mum the way they have the banter going on between them n how you used to wind mum up, andy does it to janine which makes me laugh.
mark is now in year 10 so this is the time for him to knuckle down and get on with things, he's a computer freak like paul used to be so you can imagine how he is.
jamie-leigh is just jamie-leigh, bouncing around like she hasn't a care in the world, she is doing really well in school, she has a really good singing voice kinda shocked me when i heard her, she wants to go on the x-factor so we will see, might have a superstar in the making.
paul is doing very well, he's moved into a new house and has the girls over all the time, he's working like mad, miss him loads and need to go visit him sometime soon.

I can't believe it nearly that time again...... my birthday, a year older yet still not any wiser, im assuming that comes with experience.
Don't seem to be making good choices at the mo dad and everytime i make them i think of you and what advice you would have given me, just never seem to be right, if you can send any my way right now would be great.
Miss you a great deal dad, just want to get a huge cuddle from you right now and one of your nice cups of tea.
Don't get why you had to be taken from me i need my dad.

MERRY CHRISTMAS
Merry Christmas Dad, this is another christmas without you n each year really doesn't get any easier i miss you more today as i did yesterday, where all going to have a lovely day and i have even got mum to do the boxing day party and im looking forward to it, don't know how where going to fit everyone in mums tiny flat, but im sure we will manage it.

Hi there Dad, it's been some time since i last wrote to you on here and lots has changed since then.
Im now working and im loving every minute of it i wish i had done it ages ago, mum is helping me out loads which has been a big help without mums help i would have struggled to get any work, she has been a star i love her loads.
christmas is a few weeks away and closer to it i get excited but also know that you will not be here to enjoy it, to come up to yours christams day and find out you slept on the sofa again xmas eve even tho im 30 now n janine is 22 n paul 32 haha you didnt need to sleep on the sofa but you still did it it was your tradition, the tradition we had was all opening a present after you and mum got back from the pub xmas eve and as where all grown up we can hold our excitment, i'm just gutted you not here to pass that tradition on to my kids it dont feel right me doing it as it was yours.
I can imagine you sat in a pub with our mark having a pint and playing snooker and whipping his butt, say hi to mi big bro for me, love ya both.

Hello Dad, I'm missing you loads and each day i think about little things you did and said but each one i think about makes me giggle to myself knowing how funny you were.
Never thought for one minute you wouldn't be here for Mark's 13th birthday, I imagined you sat their while he opened his presents and was just as excited as him to see what he got, then we would all do something nice for his day.

3 years today
The years have flown by and today is your 3 year mark and today like last year n year before i still cant believe you are not here, It still doesn't seem the same without you.
Im happy i have so many memorys of you and each day i remember a moment that we did or that was said, i don't ever want to forget them.

Hi there Dad, another letter for you to let you know how im getting on, well as you know iv met someone i came down and told you, Dean he is really nice and he is definitely the one, i am so in love with him, he is really looking after me and the kids, i so wish you could have met him as i know you both would have got on great.
As usual i really would love you to be here with us, where going away in may to cayton bay it should be fun just a bit of time away from belle isle, I hope to get away to turkey again and reminisce about our time there in 2004 which was the best holiday ever.

Happy 30th Birthday To Me 7/3/2010
Im a year older Dad, My 30th i really can't believe it, im still trying to get my head round you not been here n celebrating MY 30TH without you just doesn't seem right.
I have had a wonderful weekend, friday was my big party loads turned up which was wonderful to see, saturday Mark and me went to the pictures to see the new alice in wonderland film, awsome film then went to Maccy Ds for some grub.
And today my birthday i went down to the broadway with the kids, Amanda, Scott and Brogan-Mai it was a lovely meal, really enjoyed it, and tonight Amanda and me n poss some others are going up to the belle isle club for a few cheeky drinks.
So in all iv had a nice day, just wish you were here to enjoy it with me.
